Mother's Day

Tee and Rob took me to the Zoo for Mother's Day's. We had a wonderful morning seeing all of the animals and a very lazy afternoon hanging out at Sugar's and BB's. It was the perfect day!

Easter 2009

We had a wonderful Easter weekend. My parents came and spent the weekend with us and Rob's Grandmother and sister were also in town. We went to brunch at the country club and Tee got to meet the Easter Bunny. However, he HATED the bunny and was looking over his shoulder the entire time at brunch making sure the bunny was not close to him

Tee had an Easter Egg Hunt and party at school that I made these bunny cup cakes for

Opening the eggs he found on Easter morning

Mom and the dogs checking all of the goodies the bunny brought Tee

Since Tee would not sit on his lap we all took a picture together

After lunch we let Tee run around and work off his chocolate cake...

and he ended up finding a mud puddle to splash around in

Albany, NY

While all of the moving was going on my 93 year old grandmother passed away the weekend before Easter. Tee and I flew up to Albany, NY to go to her funeral. She lived a very long wonderful life and was still living independently all the way up until the end. She is dearly missed and I still think about her everyday.

Flying all the way to New York with a 1 year old by myself was pretty tough and I am sure there were a lot of unhappy people on my flight, but we made it!

Okay so it has been a few weeks or maybe even a few months since I posted on the blog and I have gotten several comments from people reminding me that it has not been updated in a while. Well a lot has happened over the last few months and I have an extremely good excuse on why it has not been updated. Rob and I decided back in March that our home was getting a little small for our family and thought that we would put our house up for sale thinking that it would take a good six months for us to sell our house. Well...we sold our home in 11 days. Needless to say things were very crazy. We decided to move ourselves so we did all of the packing and moving of our furniture and boxes with a lot of help from family members. I would never recommend this to anyone and will NEVER move myself again! We ended up finding a builder inventory home about two miles from our old home in our same neighborhood and it so nice having the extra room, but very empty from not having enough furniture. However, I am slowing getting my hands around decorating and am taking it one room at a time.

Oh yes, the day we were moving it decided to flood our street for the first time in the four years we have lived there and of course we had our POD in the driveway. It looks way worse then it was, we only had one box that was flooded and were able to salvage what was in there. Thank you God!!!
