Rob and I went to the doctor yesterday for the 16 week checkup on the baby and the baby and I continue to be doing well and are both very healthy. We are so fortunate because everything has been going so smooth. I never got morning sickness and haven’t suffered from most the pregnancy symptoms that most women suffer from. I think it must be good genes because in speaking with my mom she said she never go sick as well. The hardest part for me will be fighting off the cravings and trying not to gain too much weight :-)
I scheduled my last ultrasound for Wednesday, September 26. So that will be the day if we find out if it is a boy or girl!! We are both so excited and can’t wait!!!

Yes, Rob and I have been very busy the past few months and found out that we were expecting a few months back. I am currently 12 weeks along and had a sonogram earlier this week. It is still a to early to know if we are having a boy or girl. Below are two of my favorites;

Rob and I had a great Valentine’s Day! We tried a new restaurant in Sugar Land town square, The Burning Pear, the food and atmosphere were fantastic!! I even got flowers, aren't they beautiful!!!

This past weekend we made the trip home to see our parents. The traffic was horrendous!!! What normally takes us 51/2 hours ended up taking us 8 hours!! It was a long miserable drive, but we ended up having a great weekend.
We went to the Mandeville Mardi Gras parade on Friday night with my mom. It was a lot more fun then expected and we came home with a ton of beads…..don’t worry no flashing was involved :-)
On Saturday afternoon we went to the French Quarter with our parents and walked Bourbon Street. We had a few drinks and the people watching was very interesting.

Here is the link so my Mardi Gras photos;Posted by Nunmaker Family at 6:07 PM 0 comments

However, to remember the trip I took about 400 pictures!!! So if you want to check them out I have posted them on Kodak Gallery. Enjoy and I can’t wait to tell you all more about the trip when I see you!
