GEAUX TIGERS!!!

Well, we had planned to go back home to New Orleans for the long holiday weekend and to see the Tiger's play in Baton Rouge, but decided we better stay away since it looks like a hurricane is heading their way. Dad unfortunately, had to watch the game from home on television, but it ended up being an uneventful game and the Tiger's won...by a lot! This was Tee's first LSU game day, not an ideal situation watching his first LSU game from the house and no tailgating, but I am sure he will get his far share of game days later this season.

Auny Jenny Visit

Aunt Jenny flew in for a long weekend from Atlanta to visit with Tee. She even bought him his first pair of Nike's from the Olympic Track and Field Trials when she was there!

YEA!!! My first pair of Nike's and a cool hat for the fall.

Mom, are you sure Aunt Jenny knows what she is doing?

Whew! I made it :-)

Nana & Papa Visit

Nana and Papa came to visit us two weeks ago. The weekend flew by! However, Papa and Rob manged to squeeze in a round of golf into the weekend and Papa even taught Tee how to putt on the green. He enjoyed it for the most part, but wouldn't smile for any of the pictures because he did not like the grass AT ALL! Nana also did Tee's hair for him, just like hers. Here are a few pictures from the weekend.

What a natural, he even looks the part!

I loooove my Papa!

Once I get over my fear of this green stuff Tiger better watch out!

Watch out ladies!

Happy 5th Year Anniversary!!

Rob and I celebrated our 5th Wedding Anniversary on July 26th. Not only is this an occasion to celebrate our anniversary, but we also had a night out on the town and went to dinner leaving Tee with his first babysitter, so a very monumental for mom and dad to get out of the house for a few hours. Tee did fine and we be having more night outs in our future :-)Back to our anniversary, I can't believe it has been five years since we got married. Time really does fly by! I thought this would be a good opportunity to reflect back on the last 9 years that we have known each other and post a couple of old pictures of our first date and our wedding, Enjoy!!

Rob presenting me with my corsage for our Senior Prom and also our first date in the Spring of 1999. We were set up by a mutual friend.

Ahhhhh...how young we look :)

Weekend Visit

Aunt Rachel came to visit Tee and of course Rob and I this past weekend. We had a wonderful time. Aunt Rachel is quickly becoming one of Tee's favorite non parents and she can always manage to get a smile out him. She even let Tee play hooky from school for a few days while while Mom and Dad were at work!

What a big smile and a cute dimple for Aunt Rachel

Up to no good!

My new hat that my dad picked out for me. Don't I look handsome!

6th Months!

Tee's 6th month check up was on July 25th. He weighed in at 18lbs and 27 inches long, which puts him right down the middle in the 50th percentile. Tee is grabbing everything within reach and can now sit up on his own. Which is very nice when mom needs a free hand. We got his 6 month pictures taken this past weekend here are a few pictures from the shoot. They came out great!
