Okay so it has been a little while since I blog, okay a really, really long time, but a lot has been going on the past two months and we all have been pretty busy. I will try to catch you up on the latest and will make a resolution, once again, to become a weekly blogger with pictures included :-)
HALLOWEEN
Tee was a Monkey for Halloween and there was a lot of build up for Mom. I was sooooo excited for Halloween I could barely sleep for weeks thinking about how cute he was going to be in his costume and how much fun he would have going house to house meeting all of the people and seeing all of the other kids in their costumes. HUGE let down for me, he cried hysterically as we attempted to put the costume on him and once we finally fought enough to get it on him he refused to look at the camera for any pictures. As we walked him down the block to go to some houses he feel asleep for the rest of the night and completely missed the whole event :-( Oh well, better luck next year and I will make sure I have lower expectations so I won't be disappointed.LSU TAILGATING
Tee got to go tailgating for two LSU games this year. He had a blast and even got some practice for when he pledges a fraternity in college doing a bottle stand...with water of course :-)THE BIG MOVE
Rob's dad announced in early November that he had accepted a job here in Houston and that they would be moving here (Yea, free babysitters!!). He moved into an apartment complex in our neighborhood in mid November and will be living there until they sell their home in Mandeville. Rob and I are both looking forward to having his parents close!
FIRST HAIRCUT
Tee got his first haircut...finally!! It was looking like a little shabby for a while. He did such a great job and didn't fuss once. His hair looks much better now!THANKSGIVING
We went home to Mandeville for Thanksgiving to spend time with both of our families. We had a great holiday and ate some fantastic food! Tee sleep through Thanksgiving dinner, which I was thankful for, but made up for it later in the day :-) 'SUNDAY WITH SANTA'
Rob's family was in town and we went to our country club's 'Sunday with Santa' brunch so Tee could meet Santa for the first time. The brunch part was wonderful, but when Santa came needless to say it went downhill from there. Tee was also in his school's Christmas show and sang Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer with his classmates, soooooooo cute!!!
FULTON STREET
We spent a week in Mandeville with our families for Christmas and went downtown to New Orleans one night for dinner with Rob's family and to see the Christmas lights by the Casino. After that we took Tee to Morning Call for his first beignet, yummmmmy!!!CHRISTMAS
Tee got everything and more for Christmas this year, Mom, Dad, Aunts and Grandparents went all out!!
RACHEL'S BIRTHDAY!!
The day we were leaving to go back home we decided to join Rachel in her birthday lunch. We took Tee for his first street car ride to Superior Grill and had lunch and then took the street car back. It was a great day and Tee love the riding the street car! Happy Birthday Rachel!!

Bad Boy Bad Boy What you going to do...
Tee has discovered a lot of new things the past few weeks. He has learned how to crawl, no more army man for him. He has also discovered all of the stereo typical baby no no's; power cords, electric sockets, door stoppers, dog water and food bowls and my favorite the dog door. Anything that he should not have he is going to go after. It is also an on going battle for both Rob and I to take the dog toys away from Tee and Tee's toys away from the dogs. Both would much rather play with each others toys. Tee's particular favorite dog toy is one that one of dogs actually found in the street one night while we were walking a few months back. Very cleanly as you can imagine. It seems like I put it up on the coffee table so he won't get it and then the next thing you know he is chewing on it. I finally figured out that I am not going crazy I really do put it up on the coffee table. I caught one of the dogs taking it off of the coffee table and then basically handing it over to Tee. Between the dogs and Tee there is no more relaxing on the sofa. I think they are ganging up on Rob and I and we are definitely out numbered :-)

Wine Country
We left New Orleans early on Sunday morning and got back to Houston around 1pm only for me to leave for the airport at 2pm for a week long work trip to the wine country of California. I know it sounds like a great trip, but having to live out of a suit case and not sleep in your own bed for over two weeks was starting to take a toll me. It was also Rob's first time watching Tee for an entire week by himself. Both of them survived and were very thankful when I got home :-) Here are some pictures from my trip.
A picture with one of my co-workers in front of the Domaine Carneros Winery. Unfortunately, this was the only winery we ended up getting to go see work kept getting in the way :-)Posted by Nunmaker Family at 6:14 PM 1 comments
Hurricane Ike
So it has been awhile and yes we did make it through hurricane Ike for those of you who were a little worried I haven't posted anything in a while. However, it has been a VERY busy couple of weeks for the Nunmaker Family.
We ended up evacuating for the hurricane to all places New Orleans. We spent over a week with both of our families. It was very good trip and after hearing all of the no electricity stories from our friends and co-workers I was glad we stayed away until everything got back to normal. Our house was fine and we were lucky we didn't have any damage at all. Here are a few pictures from our hurricane evacuation week.

Last weekend we took Tee to the park for the first time and let him swing on the swing. He enjoyed every minute of it and wanted to keep swinging.
Tee also was very sick for the first time with a 104 fever and a rash!! Mom and Dad were panicking just a little, as you can imagine, but the doctor said he was fine and just had a virus that should go away in a few days. So, Rob and I had to take turns staying home with him for part of the week, but sure enough the fever did end up going away by Wednesday.
I don't feel well :-(
Please no pictures, this rash makes me look terrible!
Those New Orleans Saints Stink!!

GEAUX TIGERS!!!
Well, we had planned to go back home to New Orleans for the long holiday weekend and to see the Tiger's play in Baton Rouge, but decided we better stay away since it looks like a hurricane is heading their way. Dad unfortunately, had to watch the game from home on television, but it ended up being an uneventful game and the Tiger's won...by a lot! This was Tee's first LSU game day, not an ideal situation watching his first LSU game from the house and no tailgating, but I am sure he will get his far share of game days later this season.

Auny Jenny Visit
Aunt Jenny flew in for a long weekend from Atlanta to visit with Tee. She even bought him his first pair of Nike's from the Olympic Track and Field Trials when she was there!
YEA!!! My first pair of Nike's and a cool hat for the fall.
Mom, are you sure Aunt Jenny knows what she is doing?
Whew! I made it :-)
