PF WHAAAAAAAAAAA………..

Okay so it finally happened. Rob and I had been going out to lunch with Tee quite regularly on the weekends and he would do just fine in the restaurants. Well, I guess we got a little cocky with how well behaved he had been and decided Friday night to go out to go out to dinner at PF Chang’s with him. I feed him right before we left, thinking he would just sleep through dinner with a full belly. Well, our plan was going as scheduled, he fell asleep in the car ride over, we got to the restaurant and put our perfect sleeping baby in the booth with us. We ordered lettuce wraps, of course, and our dinner. Well, we got through our lettuce wraps and one round of beers for Rob and all hell broke lose. He woke up and started screaming at the top of his lungs, I put him in is no fail position, that stops his crying immediately….usually. However, he has recently decided that is longer the case and continued to scream. I walked outside with him where he began to scream even louder. After 5 minutes I was able to calm him down enough to walk back in the restaurant and tell Rob that we better tell the waiter to pack our meal up to go. Rob, was so confident and had just gotten his second round of drinks, and said no, no, he will be fine. Well, before Rob could even finish his sentence the screaming started up again and Rob said that I could eat while he would go and calm him down outside. Great!

Well, not two minutes later I get a call from Rob on my cell phone, I could tell he was about to lose it along with Tee. Saying, have the waiter pack it up as fast as he could we need to get out of here…fast! So, for the first time and I am sure it won’t be the last we had to pack up our meal just as it was arriving, “To Go.”

However, to have a happy ending to our miserable Friday night we did manage to get brave once again and took him to lunch on Saturday afternoon with a few friends that were in town. He was a perfect angel!

Tee is going to be three months old this week and I took some pictures in our yard this weekend for his three month pictures. Here are a few of them;

Tee Rob

Mom and Dad have decided that I am now going to be called “Tee” at home to keep all of the Rob's straight. Mom says that Tee is the Cajun word for little and it is also the name of a piece of golf equipment. I guess I am okay with being called "Tee."

Mom says I look like an angel when I sleep.

Rob IV's Baptism

We went home to Mandeville this past weekend for Rob IV's Baptism. The baptism was performed at the 11 o'clock service at the local church my family attends. Rob IV was so cute in his christening gown. The gown has special meaning in Rob's family because it has been worn by his father and his brothers and sisters, it was also worn by Rob and all of his cousins. The 'Great Mimi' then embroiders the child's name and birthday on the back of the gown. Very cool! However, during his baptism just as the minister was putting the water on his head he threw up all over the gown in front of the entire church, it was even caught on the big screen. It was pretty funny and got a lot of laughs. We did manage to get a few pictures of him in the gown before the spit up episode.

After the service we went back to Rob's parents home for a lunch with the family. Here are few pictures from the weekend below. You can check out all of the pictures at;

Low Key Weekend

This past weekend was very low key and a chance for the whole family to relax. Rob worked on his yard all weekend, mowing, weeding, planting flowers, etc..., and continues to strive to almost have the best looking yard on the block.

Rob also got a taste in being a stay at home dad on Saturday morning. I left around 8:30 am to volunteer for our annual fundraising event benefiting our literacy philanthropies, Pi Phi Style Show and Luncheon, for the Pi Phi Houston Alumnae Club. I dressed as Cat-in-the-Hat and got to strut down the runway (how embarrassing, but hey it was for a great cause). I also got to meet our former first lady, Barbra Bush, who was at the event, very cool! We had a great turn out and the event was beautiful. Rob also survived the time I was gone with Lil' Rob :-)

Lil' Rob has found a new favorite toy and cannot get enough of it. It is a little star that attaches to his gym and lights up in different colors while playing Bach, Mozart, etc.. He will lay there for at least half an hour and just stare and coo, smile and laugh. It is the cutest thing and gives me a little time to get some things done around the house while he entertains himself. The tunes are so catchy that Rob and I find ourselves humming the tunes.

Me dressed as Cat-in-the-Hat...wow I can't believe I am posting this one, but I know all of you were just dieing to see what I looked like in the outfit :-)

This is a picture of the 'Star.' I wanted to see what all of the excitement was about so I lied down with him and watched it for a little while, it does make you smile. I probably could stare at it for a good 15 minutes as well and be entertained.

This is the constant smile and coos he gives the Star, much more then he gives mom and dad. He also moves his arms and legs to the tune of the music. I will have to get it on video and post that. VERY CUTE!!!

Also, I am closing out our March 2008 pictures so if you want to see all of them check them out at the link below.
